Activate Password
When you select this, it brings up the password window.
It locks the application until the password is entered.
Change Password
Change Password Only the System Manager level of access allows you the option of changing passwords. The System Manager can change all passwords, including their own.
To change the System Manager password:
- Click on System Manager
- Type in the existing password and press Enter.
- Type in your new password and press Enter.
- You will then be requested to enter the new password again to confirm. Press Enter.
- You will then see a message “Password changed. Select password to change or press Cancel”. You can change another password or click on Cancel.
Tip: Supervisors can be given access only to a specific area or department if desired. The name of the area / department or of the supervisor can be typed into the white Corrections box.
To setup a supervisor's password:
- Change the Supervisor/department name if desired
- Click on the password you want to change, for example, Supervisor 1
- Type in the existing password and press Enter.
- Type in your new password and press Enter.
- You will then be requested to enter the new password again to confirm. Press Enter.
- You will then see a message “Password changed. Select password to change or press Cancel”. Thus you can change another password or click on Save & Exit.
Tip: If you make a mistake, start again. Backspace, delete, etc. will not work.
To Change Supervisor access, There are 3 checkboxes next to each supervisor:
System info gives the Supervisor access to most features of timeminder.
Employee Recs allows the Supervisor to setup and modify employees.
Corrections allows the Supervisor to correct records for the employees that are assigned to them (through 'department' in the employee modify window).
Download and Process
This option will take you to the “Please select company” window. Once a company is selected, you will go onto the Download and Process Menu.
The Download and Process option can also be used if you want to change which company you are in, without having to exit Time-Minder completely.
Export Data
To Ezitracker. Used to create a file with employees’ details for use with remote Time-Minder function. See Employees for more details.
Exit Time-Minder
Use this option to close and exit the application.
