INTRODUCTION
Time-Minder for Windows
A.M.S. Time-Minder is an Australian company with over 20 years experience meeting the needs of time recording. The A.M.S. objective is to make the move to an accurate and cost effective method of time recording as simple and as effective as possible for our clients.
Time-Minder is Windows based and utilises the latest user friendly technology, eliminating the need to collect time cards or evaluate manual records for entry into the payroll. Entering simple instructions can generate a report detailing all activities during a given period.
We manufacture high quality terminals here in Australia. The latest terminals give clients the option of swipe card, proxy card or fingerprint readers to clock.
Both arrival and departure bookings are made on the terminal which then displays the card number, time and date. There are no buttons to push.
Adjustments can be easily performed from the controlling PC, via password protected software, immediately updating the employee records.
MINIMUM PC REQUIREMENTS
For the Time-Minder software to operate efficiently the controlling PC should meet the following minimum system requirements:
- PENTIUM III 500MHz
- Windows 98/ME/NT/2000/XP
- At least 15mb of hard disk space
- 800 x 600 Video setting
- CD-ROM
- Note: It is recommended that if in excess of 100 employees are going to use the Time-Minder the controlling PC speed and disk space should be increased. If all historical records are maintained on the PC the disc space required will also increase. It is recommended that regular back-ups of all data files are undertaken.
THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS SHALL APPLY TO THE USE OF THE SOFTWARE.
A.M.S. SOFTWARE LICENCE: Time-Minder version 5.5 for Windows.
1. GRANT OF LICENCE. A.M.S. grants to you the right to use one copy of the enclosed Time-Minder software program (Software) on a single terminal connected to a single computer. You may not network the software or otherwise use it on more than one computer or computer terminal at the same time.
2. COPYRIGHT. The software is owned by A.M.S. and therefore you must treat the software like any other copyright material (e.g. a book or musical recording) except that you may either (a) make a copy of the software solely for backup or archival purposes, or (b) transfer the Software to a single hard disk provided you keep the original solely for backup or archival purposes. You may not copy the written materials accompanying the software.
3. OTHER RESTRICTIONS. This A.M.S. licence agreement is your proof of licence to exercise the rights granted herein and must be retained by you. You may not reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the software.
USE OF THE SOFTWARE BY YOU IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED FOR USE WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. A.M.S. AND ITS SUPPLIERS DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
NO LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. In no event shall A.M.S. or its suppliers be liable for any damages whatsoever (including without limitation, damages for loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of business information or other pecuniary loss) arising out of the use or inability to use this A.M.S. product, even if A.M.S. has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Because some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, the above limitation may not apply to you.
