FAQ:Why did my shift number change?

The most common reason for a shift to change number is that it is set up to do so under the Rounding Rules & Auto Roster
Go to Award Setup -> Shifts
Then select the Rounding Rules & Auto Roster tab.
These columns are where almost all of the shift changes originate. If a shift is changing to the wrong shift, trace it back and double check these rules.
The only other place where a shift will be changed is in the Employee -> Modify window, for public holidays. Double check whether the employee has a public holiday shift set, and, if necessary that the public holiday days are entered correctly
